Joust another outing

The Madwoman takes the view that you can never get too much education,

 so despite the torrential rain, it was on with the anoraks and off to the

Open Air Museum again yesterday to see some medieval jousting.

Except that when we got there, the little collection of tents was pretty well deserted.    Maybe everyone was hiding inside them?                          

We couldn't go and find out though as there was a distinctly unwelcoming sign on the gate. Definitely not as sociable as the usual re-enactors who come along and invite you to look in their tents and watch them cooking.                                                          We did spot a cooking fire, but no sign of any sucking pig.  With no sign of any sucking peasants either we went home and got dry instead.
