Alright, so we're not really at Narnia - it's one of the lamp posts at Chiltern Open Air Museum, but it seemed an appropriate setting to choose when posing with our visitor. Yes, we had a guest last week - none other than famous writer Susan Price. We liked her (even though she brought no turkey) while the Madwoman just gibbered and burbled with over-excitement. That will no doubt ensure that our new bestie won't want to visit us again. Well, that and the hard bed. We suppose we could have offered to share our giant bean bag, but in view of the lack of roast turkey, decided that a line needed to be drawn somewhere ...
Two attempts and she still messed up. One of these days we will have to try and teach the Madwoman how to compose a photo properly. |

You guys must have had so much fun!!!! And sunshine - nice touch!
Somebody named Susan Price did indeed have a great time with the Mad Woman. And I believe a couple of small four-footed creatures were in evidence - small, unimportant creatures who wouldn't share their bean-bag. Huh!
Yes Joan - as you are probably aware, the sun always shines on the righteous!
Sue - we have racked our brains and cannot think who you are referring to. Unless the hard mattress was also inhabited by bedbugs. We wouldn't be surprised: the Madwoman is pretty slovenly at times.
I am slightly worried about what has happened to Ms Price's right leg... hoping the wippitts are not chewing on a new bone?
Perish the thought Katherine Roberts. We never eat house guests. Unless they are postmen ...
