Weather wippitts

As we were out in the garden doing our ablutions at 6am the other morning, the Madwoman remarked that it must be autumn as she noticed that our poo was steaming gently on the dewy grass.
Apparently this means that there must be a bit of a nip in the air.
We thought there were other, far more obvious clues around - like this big pile of crispy autumn leaves we were tramping about in at the weekend.
We wippitts are weather-wise.
We can even tell you accurately just how cold it is - it's easy to tell by looking to see if you can see your wippitt shivering: or alternatively by counting the number of layers of coats it is wearing.
Simples.

Yes, a much more reliable method than looking at the thickness of onion skins, and won't make your eyes water either! Well, not unless you get too close.
