Partaaaaaay!

Because no party is complete without us, we were lured into going to a launch party for a book anthology which the Madwoman has had some involvement in. We were bribed with the offer of as many sossidges as we could eat. Except that it turned out that the party was an online one and all the sossidges were virtual ones. Pffft. There is no substance at all to a virtual sossidge.
If we can find the appropriate authority to complain to, we shall be complaining very loudly indeed.

Singing in the snow

Snowflakes keep falling on our heads
But we're not complaining, 'cos we're going back to our beds,
Snow is not for us,
We'll keep snoozing 'till the weather's more amusing,
Because we're wippitts
Snow's not bothering us ....

Hot, hot, HOT!

Angel cunningly camouflaged as a shadow in the garden.

We don't like to complain, but we're getting a little fed up with these extremes of weather. First of all it's torrential rain, and now it's heatwave stuff. What's worse, policemen seem to be back to their old tricks of roasting dogs alive in cars. Not a nice way to go. Dogs Trust say they are saddened by it. We're appalled. Make sure your own MadWoman (or MadMan) leaves you safely in the cool at home in this sort of weather.

In the meantime, who do we write to about getting the weather sorted out? Not to complain you understand, just to make a few suggestions ...
