Christmas round up

Wow.
Has it really been that long since our last blog?
Although we have been busy ... hope you all had a good Christmas.
Ours went like this:
First of all we had to pose in our new Christmas jumpers.
Nice and warm and snuggly, and its not that we're ungrateful, but we really wanted to get on
with the presents and the turkey.
But oh no. We were redressed in our Tron outfits and forced to
go out for a Christmas walk. The Madwoman reckoned it would help us work up an appetite
for Christmas lunch.
As if we needed any exercise to help us stuff ourselves with turkey ...
Finally we got round to present unwrapping ... we had presents from Grandma, our Madwoman, our Auntie Ju and our doggodmother Sarah. Hope they aren't all expecting
us to write thank you letters. We're only just catching up with our blog and
Facebook pages.
Our Grandma immediately tried to steal one of Archie's presents,
a honking crocodile. She said she was just trying to play with it with him.
But we know better. Pensioners are getting a bit out of order these days.
We politely removed it from her before she could try and
take it home, pretending it was hers.

Angel sensibly took her presents a safe distance away, out of reach
of Grandma's light fingers ...
And then, at last, it was Turkey Time!
As you won't want to watch us eating, we'll leave you with a musical interlude instead...

Lazy Sunday:2

We've been out, have supervised the hanging up of the
new Waspinator, collected Grandma from church,
and now we're busy doing important Wippitt stuff.
Laters.

What we did at Christmas

We hope you all had a good Christmas!
This is sort of how ours went:
Oi! Don't you think it's time
that we got our presents?

Oh for goodness sake.
They're up here!

Tear it! Just tear the paper!
Grandma has no idea how to have a good time opening prezzies!
Come on, get your teeth into it!
Look, like this!

Oh at last!
Thought we were never going to get our presents.

And once the paper is off, the squeaking of soft toys is of course, one
of the traditional sounds of Christmas ...

What did you get?
Do you want to swop?

Roast turkey dinner!

Time to catch up on a nap now ...

Stung!

No post from us at the weekend because
we had a Drama ...
Archie got stung on the paw by a bee as we were
enjoying a nice relaxed stroll round the Chiltern Open Air Museum.
It swole up hugely and he couldn't put any weight on it at all.
This meant that the Madwoman had to carry him back to the car.
It couldn't have been more than half a mile but from the way she
was puffing and panting by the time we got there you'd think she'd run a marathon.
Anyway, Archie had antihistamines and Apis Mel and an icepack and a bit of Grandma's roast beef and is now feeling much better.
We think it was probably the roast beef that did the trick.
