Getting ready!

We have been a bit busy getting ready for Christmas,

which has made us a little late posting our blog.

Exercising the Madwoman too ...

First of all there has been practicing the working-up-of-an-appetite

ready for our turkey dinner.

Then there has been the eating-of-the-Advent-calendar biscuits.

These have not always been arriving on the right days, 

so that sometimes we have had to force ourselves to eat two gravy bones.

The Madwoman is not very good at keeping track of the days of the week it appears.

We will be adding it to the already lengthy list of her faults.

Soon it will be time for us to help put up the Christmas decorations

- which we do, of course, need to prepare ourselves for, by taking a little nap.

Quality control

We did supervising of the filling of our Advent Calendar today.

Three more days and at last we can start eating them!

The Madwoman really likes to prolong the suspense.

Hmmm ... a seriously undersized biscuit here.
Better remove it out of the way.

What?! Only one gravy bone in each pocket?
Which we are expected to share? Pffffft.
About time the Madwoman took our quality control a bit more seriously.

It's up!

The Madwoman got out our Advent calendar ....

but she has FORGOTTEN TO FILL IT!!!!

Weather stuff

We have, as we said before, been

exceptionally busy, working our paws to the bone to help

the Madwoman with her Advent calendar and 12 Days of Christmas pics.

It hasn't left us a lot of time for blogging, but the festive season is now nearly over so things should be back to normal again soon. 

 

Today is the 10th day of Christmas.

The willpower this took was phenomenal.

No wonder we have been too weary to blog.

 

Nevetherless, the Madwoman decreed that today we would go out and do

zoomies and have fun. It started out okay, with bright blue skies.

Then with no warning at all, the sky turned purple, there was thunder and lightning and then hail, at which point we beat a retreat to the car.

Remind us again why we're out here?

Oh yes, we're having fun.

Can we go home now?

 

 

Christmas countdown

 

Its nearly time to start the Christmas countdown. The Madwoman got out our Advent calendar, which has little numbered pockets that she puts treats in.

We thought this would be a good place to hang it ...

Not impressed!

But oh, no, the Madwoman decided it would be better hung up on the back of a door where we can't reach it, and have to wait until she decides it's time each evening to dole out the treats.

Adventageous Times

A step ladder would be handy ...

Yes, our Advent calendar has finally gone up!

We had our first biscuit out of it last night.

Seems a bit mean hanging it up where we can't reach to help ourselves though.
